Ocoee Rafting Employment Opportunities
Join Our Team
Carolina Ocoee Rafting offers a variety of employment
opportunities in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. We hire whitewater
rafting guides, bus drivers, desk clerks, cashiers, photographers, and
telephone reservation personnel. If you are a high energy, competent, well
adjusted individual, if you are friendly and excellent in dealing with people,
and if you would enjoy working in the outdoor recreation industry, we invite
you to apply for employment with us.
Our season begins in late March and ends in November. The
busiest season, and the time of year that we employ most of our personnel is
June, July and August. This employment time period works out great for college
students or school teachers who want to do river guiding during the summer, who
want to work in retailing, desk clerking, bus driving (CDL license required),
and/or photography of whitewater rafting. We have both full-time and part-time
work available. We will work with you on your college or school schedule.
We have staff housing options at Nantahala Motel for members
of the team who need lodging in the area. The staff housing has a community
kitchen, free laundry facilities and satellite TV. The staff housing is
conveniently located only one mile from the Carolina Rafting Outpost where both
the Nantahala and the Ocoee trips begin.

EMPLOYMENT
APPLICATION. Our wage levels are competitive. EMAIL US if you need further
information. Please note, US Forest Service and TVA regulations require that
all guides must be at least 18 years of age. All guides must have Red Cross
First Aid and CPR card (We can arrange classes or you can get certification
on your own), and additional guide training available to you through our
company and through training agencies we work with. We offer free river
training trips for guides who would like to work with our company.
